With its rich heritage in motor racing, The Bathurst 1000 is finally in the hands of a brand that lives and breathes the sport. To celebrate, Repco is Bringin’ the Bathurst to absolutely everything they do across Australia and New Zealand.
We announced our sponsorship with the only things needed to Bring the Bathurst – a Repco spokesperson, eight cylinders, heaps of octane, and a healthy amount of burnt rubber. Does it get any more Bathurst-y than that?
THE LAUNCH
We then kicked it up a notch for the brand launch! With a suite of film, OOH, Radio and loads more!
RETAIL
We even brought the Bathurst to retail ads. Opening as if they just another boring retail frame, until we add some octane!
But we didn’t stop there! We promised we’d Bring the Bathurst to everyone and everything, so that’s just what we did on Race weekend by Bringin’ the Bathurst to other brands ads!
In a full media take over on race weekend, every ad spot was taken over by us, so race fans never missed a second of the octane.
Then we even brought the Bathurst to radio. Using V8 Supercar commentator Neil Crompton. We strapped him in a V8 supercar for a full hotlap around the Bathurst track itself. The radio spot runs the entire length of the hot lap so listeners can come along for the ride.
